报告摘要:This talk provides a concise exploration of classical mathematical models in fisheries, focusing on their evolution and application in sustainable fishery management. It commences with a review of classical models, laying the foundational understanding of fish population dynamics and the effects of fishing. The discussion then shifts to bio-economic models, highlighting the significance of variable pricing through linear and non-linear demand functions, and how these models adapt to market dynamics affecting fishery sustainability. A case study of the Thief fishery in Senegal, as examined by the Centre de Recherches Océanographiques de Dakar-Thiaroye (CRODT), serves to illustrate the real-world application and challenges of these models. Moreover, the article expands to include multi-site models, addressing the complexities of managing fisheries across multiple geographic locations with diverse ecological and economic characteristics.
