报告摘要：This talk provides a concise exploration of classical mathematical models in fisheries, focusing on their evolution and application in sustainable fishery management. It commences with a review of classical models, laying the foundational understanding of fish population dynamics and the effects of fishing. The discussion then shifts to bio-economic models, highlighting the significance of variable pricing through linear and non-linear demand functions, and how these models adapt to market dynamics affecting fishery sustainability. A case study of the Thief fishery in Senegal, as examined by the Centre de Recherches Océanographiques de Dakar-Thiaroye (CRODT), serves to illustrate the real-world application and challenges of these models. Moreover, the article expands to include multi-site models, addressing the complexities of managing fisheries across multiple geographic locations with diverse ecological and economic characteristics.

Pierre Auger，法国科学院院士，法国发展研究院特级主任研究员，9999js金沙老品牌国家重大人才工程A类入选者，国际著名应用数学、生态学家，主要从事生态系统、渔业模型等领域研究，在SIAM J. Appl. Math., Phy. Life Reviews, Bull. Math. Biol.等期刊发表学术论文近200篇，出版专著3部。
